A PROFITABLE BUSINESS MODEL REVERSING OSTEOPOROSIS
For 20 years I've been saying: "This is where everyone is going, they just don't know it yet."
There is no question that isometrics has far more to offer more people than traditional forms of exercise, particularly for the 20% of our population represented by the baby boomers.
Awareness is growing.
More and more people are giving it a chance and reaping the benefits.
And as I have also stated, once people give it a try and experience the benefits they will not go back to the old ways of doing things.
It would be like going back to using a pager after having experienced a smart phone.
"It takes a few minutes, it's once a week, you feel good, I can't understand why people aren't lined up around the block to get in," one client says repeatedly.
And we both know that if one person is thinking it there are most likely many more thinking the same thing.
The shift is happening -- slowly -- right now.
But I can promise you the pace of people looking SPECIFICALLY for this type of exercise will pick up. It's just a matter of time.
You can either be established and recognized as a provider early, or you can wait until it's everywhere and be just another small fish in the pond.
The hesitation for many is usually about how to make money with a concept so drastically different from the norm.
I'm going to share with you a simple, profitable business model that is working for me at STRONG WOMEN ROCK:
• I've got a nice 300 square foot space with its own restroom in an executive office building. The overhead is very low.
• Simplicity is key.
The viiivPRO is in the middle of the room with a few pieces of furniture for sitting around the perimeter. No frilly extra stuff; just the one tool responsible for getting great results.
• I schedule appointments every 15 minutes.
• Upon arrival clients are encouraged to come in, even if I'm in session with another client.
I don't mind this because I will ask them to help me cheer on the person I'm working with.
Trust me, an audience ALWAYS helps someone go to even higher levels of effort. It also allows clients to connect. It's nice for them to know they aren't the only forward-thinking individuals on the planet.
• I put people through a simple series of 4 stations -- chest press, leg press, core pull, vertical lift -- where they are instructed to give as much effort as they are comfortable exerting for 5 seconds.
The client is always in control of what they want to do; they progress at a pace they are comfortable with.
• I like to see them once a week. If they miss a week, I encourage them to make it up, if they want to, which occasionally means coming in two times in a week.
• They are charged a fee of $125/month.
Doesn't matter if they make it in one time, or five times a month. Think of it like a subscription for access.
Getting them in the door is accomplished with a very effective and profitable Facebook advertising campaign.
Yes, it's really this simple…and makes money.
This is where you are going.
The question is, how soon do you want to get there?
