Brian Murray (Exercise Physiologist and viiiv Director of Clinical Research) has been documenting bone mineral density changes in his clients at his STRONG WOMEN ROCK location, which uses the viiivPRO exclusively to reverse Osteoporosis:
Shortly after her DEXA scan in May, Jan came to SWR in August 2022.
She tried the medication route for a short time but it made her horribly ill.
Her follow up DEXA scan in May 2024 revealed that her TOTAL SPINE BONE MINERAL DENSITY (BMD) went from .818 to .877; a 7.2% increase while her FEMUR NECK BMD jumped from .610 to .674: a 10.5% increase.
Cathy's case is interesting. When she came to SWR in August 2023 she was battling EPI (Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency).
Throughout the next year Cathy continued to become stronger. However, she experienced uncontrollable weight loss as she lost a large amount of body fat.
This made the area of TOTAL HIP measurement on her 2024 follow up DEXA scan much smaller.
This complicated interpretation of her results so we had to calculate relative changes as a percentage of the area measured.
In one year Cathy's FEMUR NECK BONE MINERAL CONTENT (BMC) AND BONE MINERAL DENSITY (BMD) increased by 19% and 12.7% respectively. Also, the BMD of her FEMUR NECK as a percentage of her TOTAL HIP BMD increased by 11%.
Ann came to SWR in March 2021. After 7 months of loading her bones the follow up dexa report in October 2021 showed the following:
Since 2018 her SPINE BONE MINERAL DENSITY (BMD) increased from .924 to 1.009; a 9.2% increase.
Her FEMUR BMD increased from .585 to .650; an 11.1% improvement.
Ann also became a member of the 1,000LB Leg Press Club.
After eleven months of a 20 second bone loading session once a week, Susan achieved a 2.7% increase in her TOTAL SPINE BMD (bone mineral density) with huge increases in L1 (10%), L2 (11%), and L4 (14%).
In addition to her spine improvements, Susan also had a 4.8% improvement in her TOTAL HIP BMD with a 3.8% improvement in the critically important FEMUR NECK.
In the two years between Camie’s DEXA scans her SPINE BONE MINERAL DENSITY (L1-L4) increased from .878 to 1.054.
This is a 20% improvement!
Her T score improved from -1.5 to -1.1.
After a 15+ year longitudinal study, following 100's of clients of every age and physical condition, consisting of 1000's of training sessions, a few Case Studies are presented below to illustrate the typical results of this exercise modality:

A 10 pound weight loss doesn’t sound like much to most people, but 17 lbs. of body fat was lost while 7 lbs of lean mass was gained. Body fat percentage decreased from 42.3% to 34.6%. These results have been achieved in 6 months with ONLY maximum isometric contraction training workouts that last no longer than 40 seconds (four exercises of 10 seconds or less of maximum effort).

As a result of adding our strength training technology to her physical care regimen, Joan experienced a dramatic shift in her body composition. Her body fat decreased while her lean body mass increased. This means that all of her weight loss came from fat stores. The preservation of lean body mass is the key to keeping your body young. Additionally, her metabolic age declined by 8 years! This is what happens when your body composition changes in the right direction.

Ellen experienced good weight loss, meaning everything she lost was body fat. She kept the good stuff – lean body mass – as seen by the increase in the percentage of her body weight accounted for by lean body mass. Even though her chronological age continued to go up during the six week program, her metabolic age went down by 13 years! She now has a body composition typically seen in the average 26 year old female.
